Meet The Directors

The Mustangs began as a group of passionate young ballplayers competing in recreational baseball at SKSA. As our team grew in skill and dedication, we made the decision to form our own team while continuing to play within the SKSA rec league. Over time, we saw the opportunity to take our players to the next level and made the leap into select baseball. Our journey came full circle in the spring of 2024 when SKSA approached us with the opportunity to partner with them in launching a dedicated select baseball division. Today, The Mustangs proudly field teams from 7U through high school, providing athletes with top-level training and competition while staying true to our roots. We are especially proud to still have three of our original players competing as Mustangs, carrying on the legacy that started it all.

Mustangs Baseball is a select baseball program dedicated to developing well rounded athletes by focusing on baseball fundamentals, mental toughness, and a strong competitive spirit. Players are trained in multiple positions to build versatility and a deeper understanding of the game rather than specializing too early. With multiple select teams at each age level (7U-through high school), athletes are placed where they can best develop, ensuring growth and long-term success. Our coaching staff emphasizes skill development over chasing trophies, preparing players for high school competition and beyond. As players progress, they face higher-level competition, refining their skills and mental preparation to excel on the college showcase circuit. We prioritize proper arm care, provide high-quality training tools, and ensure accessible practice locations to maximize development. Mustang Baseball is committed to shaping disciplined, competitive athletes who carry their skills and work ethic into every aspect of life.
